Terrible coach. Really regret decision to have my child on his team. Had previous heard negative things about this coach. I did not like the way this team was ran and felt like he did not care about the players and was rude and degrading at times. He lacks the skills and communication to be a true leader and role model to his young players. Not sure how he became a coach with the smugness of his personality. He may know a lot of technical skills, but would not recommend this coach. He still needs a lot of growing up and maturing to do as a young man.

This organization and this coach are all about money. They even charge you for their own tournaments. The only club that I know that charges a per diem for their coaches. Big ego little results. Stay away from this coach and organization. Zero communication

Inconsistent. His team never plays like a team, just individuals competing against one another because this coach is always recruiting to replace and do what if takes to win no matter what. Cares nothing about the players or team just his own ego and winning statistics. Has a good training program but has serious core coaching issues. Highly Not Recommended. He has lost so many talented players to better clubs.

My son has been going to Ryan for one-on-one training for many years, and he is without question a better player for it. Ryan is a tough and dynamic coach who get results from players who work hard.

Be VERY VERY careful with this coach. Read the comments. They are all true. Do not be fooled by him or his father. This club team has a reputation of bullying and smearing anyone with concerns about the team. You will NOT have a voice at all. They will take your money and once they have it all you mean nothing to them. They can only develop a child until 12. They have no path for the future of the children. The management and leadership- all the way to the top - have no professional background and ZERO people and management skills. You will be very very frustrated. It took three years to have our eyes opened.

Awful coach. Abusive to players, referees, and parents. Horrible example for the kids in every aspect. Sad that he is allowed around kids. Guess that is what happens when you father is the director of coaching. Nepotism has a bad name for a reason.

Clearly this coach has issues since CALSOUTH approved our transfers to other teams so quickly. Some parents where not honest why they left this coach. Some went down to the white team and others went to u12 red team to get away from this coach. Its funny how some parents want to say what a good coach he is and there spouses would never say such mean things about this coach or the boys. How can you comment about anything when you have only been to two games and zero practices in over two years. Its unbecoming of a Mormon to yell and scream at his kids and not listen to the coach when he asks you not to coach from the sidelines.

Ryan is a great coach and I was lucky to be on his team. He makes practice fun and helped us become a great team. We have great players and we got 2nd place our league. Thank you Ryan.

My son had a great experience playing for the Hawks with Ryan as his coach. He made practice fun for the boys while developing their skills. The boys love to go to practice and it shows with the respect that they have for him. A club coach should have high expectations of his players. If you want special treatment or want your child to play "Daddy ball" stay with recreational soccer. If your want your son to excel then the Hawks with Ryan is the place to be.

Our son joined Ryans BU11 Black team mid-season this year. He has improved significantly working with Ryan through practice and private training. He loves his coach and looks forward to every practice and game. Ryan makes each practice fun and challenging every time which is exactly what you want from a coach. Our son wants to work hard for Ryan because he respects him, which is what every kid should feel for his coach as well.

After 30 years of playing and coaching soccer, I have discovered from Ryan new technical drills for my child and a different vision for the game. Ryan is the type of coach that I feel will better prepare my child for a successful soccer career.

How was this coach hired? No personality, no rapport with the boys, horrible communicator, and in general stinks as a coach. He should not work with kids

The worst soccer coach ever experienced in many years of team sports. Keep your children away from this immature bitter young man. Poor in every area he can be rated! The only reason he has a job is that daddy is director of coaching. Enough said.
